The Union-Chapman Regional Authority has the responsibility to find solutions to the community’s sewer needs. The Authority assists in planning for and, when feasible, obtaining financing for the acquisition or construction of public sewage systems to be leased to the Township and operated by the Authority.
The Regional Authority provides sewage service to about 120 homes along Main Street and the Old Trail in Port Trevorton. All water is supplied by private wells.

The Union-Chapman Regional Authority meets on the first Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Union Township Municipal Building, 1510 McNess Road, Port Trevorton, PA 17864.
